Why we made it

The balloons do not fly every morning. Many people book one morning, the wind is too strong, and they go home without a ride. The booking sites do not show how often the mornings are calm in each month.

So we counted. We checked 16 years of sunrise weather near Göreme against the official 10-knot wind limit. The site turns those numbers into a plain answer for your trip.

Who we are

SHCH Builds is a small independent studio. It builds websites and apps that answer one question well. See our other work at shch-builds.com.

What we are not

• We are not the aviation authority (SHGM) and we do not speak for it.
• We are not a balloon company. We do not fly balloons or sell rides ourselves.
• We do not forecast tomorrow. Our numbers show what usually happens. For tomorrow, check the official flag the evening before.

How the site earns money

The site is free. Some booking links pay us a commission when you book. You pay the same price. We link only to rides that refund you or move you to another morning when the weather cancels. The commission never changes our numbers: they come from the weather record, the same for every month and every company.
